Software Engineer at Canva

I joined Canva during the tech boom in the midst of the pandemic as a backend engineer. The company was scaling like crazy and only just started hiring from Melbourne Victoria.

Transitioning from traditional enterprise to scale up was a steep learning curve. The structure and systems I was used to was gone. Self motivation and "just figuring it out" was the key in this new environment.
